The typical optical set-ups are shown in Figures G.1 and G.2
For small animals, the field of view of the eye camera covers approximately 0.5” in the horizontal. Moving the camera closer will increase the field of view, but will require a higher diopter close-up lens on the front of the optics. Generally a +2 close-up lens is suitable for a 15” – 17” (38 – 43 cm) eye-to-camera distance.
