Fully Automated, Walk-Away Miniaturized Workflows
The Sciclone® G3 NGSx HT workstation offers precision pipetting down to 500 nL, allowing for the transfer of enzymes, samples, beads, and buffers at volumes sufficient to scale reactions down during NGS library preparation. The NGS workstation comes equipped with a 384-low volume pipetting head, on-deck thermal elements, shaker, thermal cycler, and robotic pipette tip loader for truly walkaway sample preparation of high-quality NGS libraries from purified nucleic acids or single cell inputs. The workstation is well positioned to automate:
- cDNA Synthesis from RNA or single cells
- Library construction from cDNA or gDNA

Library Prep Reagents Optimized and Validated for Reaction Miniaturization
High quality DNA-seq libraries can be prepared using the NEXTFLEX® Rapid XP DNA-seq kit for the Sciclone® G3 NGSx HT workstation, specially designed for reaction miniaturization on this instrument. The NEXTFLEX® Rapid XP DNA-seq kit is based on a streamlined protocol incorporating a single step for fragmentation, end-repair, and adenylation with minimal hands-on time to generate NGS libraries with consistent yields and ultimately produce high-quality sequencing metrics. All the required reagents for fragmentation, library prep, and magnetic bead-based cleanup are supplied with the kit. For ultra-high-throughput multiplexing, up to 1,536 NEXTFLEX® Unique Dual Index barcodes are now available off-the-shelf.
PKeye™ Mobile Operations Monitor
The PKeye™ mobile operations monitor incorporates on-deck cameras with the Sciclone® G3 NGSx HT workstation. Through the PKeye™ cloud-based platform, you can monitor your workstation from a conference room, office, or your own home. This system will notify you of any errors that occur, allowing you to walk away from the workstation and focus your attention on intellectual contributions to the lab.
